Physiotherapy & Pain Relief

For physiotherapy treatments, we offer both targeted/localized cryotherapy using the Cryo Penguin and the advanced Pagani Cryo T-Shock, which can alternate cold and hot therapies. Therapeutic treatment with cold often proves the best therapy of first intervention in the event of trauma, helping provide analgesia (pain reduction), temporary anesthesia (loss of sensation to the treated area), and anti-inflammation (reducing swelling).

Targeted cryotherapy may benefit and help manage a variety of chronic processes, such as rheumatoid arthritis, degenerative joint disease (osteoarthritis), muscle strains, and tendonitis. It may be effectively alternated with thermotherapy while normal venous circulation is compromised, as during the subacute or chronic phases of some traumatic and inflammatory conditions. The Cryo T-Shock delivers alternating applications of heat and cold (shock-thermal), producing vasodilatation (blood vessels constrict/ close). Pain relief occurs almost immediately, within a minute or so. Consequently, freedom from pain and improvement in joint function results in patients experiencing increased mobility allowing more specifically both static and dynamic stretching including Pilates and gymnastic rehabilitation exercises. Hyper thermic heat cycles are especially beneficial for the larger and stronger structural components of our joints, including tendons, ligaments, and joint capsules.

How Does Targeted Cryotherapy Or Cryo T-Shock Help Pain Relief?

  • Causes Endorphins To Be Released
  • Reduces The Activity Of Free Nerve Endings
  • Decreases Neurotransmitter Transmission
  • Raises The Pain Threshold
  • Cold Sensors Over-Ride The Pain Sensations (Pain Gate Therapy: Non-Painful Inputs Closes The "Gates" To Painful Input)
  • Alternating Cold And Warm Shock Causes Local Vasoconstriction And Vasodilation (CRYO T-Shock)
  • Reduces Inflammation And Soft Tissue Swelling

Sports and Recreational Injuries

Unfortunately, sports injuries are common, especially in high-intensity competitive sports, such as football, basketball, hockey, etc. However. unsuspected injuries may also afflict bicyclists, triathletes, gymnasts, ballet dancers, and for that matter, virtually any amateur athlete engaged in their chosen recreational activities. At Core Elite Wellness Fit Cryo, it is our desire to help get you back on your feet, again enjoying those sports and recreational activities you desire. In addition to pain management, Targeted Cryotherapy and Cryo T-Shock treatments may help place you back on the "road to recovery". We should point out that the thermal shock, delivered via Cryo T-Shock, is most effective in the early stages of sports rehabilitation for the rapid pain relief, reduction in soft tissue swelling, and the resulting improvement of joint mobility.

IV Nutrient Infusions/IM Vitamin & Slimming Injections

IV nutrient infusions and IM vitamin injections allow for direct delivery of nutrients, vitamins, and minerals to the blood stream, bypassing the gut. It's a better method of obtaining the nourishment and supplements you require, allowing for immediate absorption. Whether due to stress, too much alcohol, or simply not eating right, IV drips can help restore your health, providing needed hydration as well.

At Core Elite Wellness Fit Cryo, we offer a variety of IV and IM options, including immune boosting, vitamin and mineral blends, Vit B12, improved cognitive function, fat burning/appetite suppressants, anti-oxidants, glutathione, and NAD+.

IV infusions are administered by a registered RN. The length of time varies depending upon the type of infusion but expect about 1 hour (more if NAD+). IM injections can be administered quickly. Results vary from person to person and the specific therapies chosen. Most experience benefits immediately following the sessions. We recommend a series of treatments to obtain optimal results.
